The Outreach section of your Dashboard helps you measure the success of your brand outreach efforts. It provides a snapshot of how many outreach campaigns you've completed, how many replies you've received, and how many brand deals were generated from those campaigns.

By monitoring these metrics, you can better understand what's working, identify opportunities to improve your outreach strategy, and measure the return on your outreach efforts over time.

Understanding Your Outreach Metrics

The Outreach section displays three key performance metrics.

Campaigns

The Campaigns metric shows the total number of completed outreach campaigns you've created.

An outreach campaign is created when you select a brand representative and schedule an email sequence through the Outreach feature in CM Hub.

Only completed outreach campaigns are included in this total.

Replies

The Replies metric displays the total number of responses you've received from your outreach campaigns.

This includes replies from brand representatives who respond to your email sequence.

The following responses are not counted as replies:

  • Bounce back messages
  • Blocked email notifications
  • Out of office replies
  • Automatic system responses

This helps ensure your reply rate reflects genuine engagement from brands.

Deals

The Deals metric shows the total number of sponsorship opportunities generated through your outreach campaigns.

To ensure this metric is accurate, any deal created as a result of your outreach should have its Deal Type set to Outreach.

If a deal is assigned a different Deal Type, it won't be included in your Outreach performance statistics.

Good to Know

Keeping your Deal Type up to date ensures your Dashboard accurately reflects the results of your outreach efforts.

Filter Your Results

By default, the Outreach section displays data across the lifetime of your CM Hub account.

You can use the available filters to review performance over specific time periods.

Available filters include:

  • Current Month
  • Current Year
  • Last Year
  • Custom Date Range

To analyze a specific period, select a Start Date and End Date using the custom date filter.

The Dashboard will automatically update to display the matching results.

Why This Matters

Monitoring your Outreach performance can help you:

  • Measure the effectiveness of your email outreach.
  • Understand how often brands respond.
  • Track how many opportunities are generated through outreach.
  • Compare outreach performance across different time periods.
  • Refine your outreach strategy based on real results.

Over time, these metrics can help you identify which outreach approaches are generating the most meaningful conversations and sponsorship opportunities.

Tips

  • Always assign the correct Deal Type when creating a new deal so your Outreach metrics remain accurate.
  • Review your reply rate regularly to evaluate how well your email sequences are performing.
  • Use date filters to compare outreach performance across different months, quarters, or years.
  • Continue testing different email messaging and targeting strategies to improve your results over time.
