Groupings help CM Hub match you with brands that align with the products, services, and industries you are interested in promoting. By selecting the Groupings that fit your creator business, you help CM Hub identify relevant companies when generating recommendations and pairing creators with brand opportunities.
For example, a creator interested in promoting technology products may select Groupings related to consumer electronics, video games, mobile devices, or gaming accessories. A beauty creator may choose categories such as makeup, haircare, skincare, fragrance, or beauty tools.

What Are Groupings?
Groupings are categories that describe the types of brands, products, and services you are open to promoting.
Each broad parent group contains more specific subgroups. For example:
Beauty & Cosmetics
Possible subgroups may include:
- Makeup & Cosmetics
- Haircare & Styling
- Men’s Grooming
- Skincare & Suncare
- Fragrance & Body Care
- Nails & Nail Tools
- Beauty Devices & Tools
Gaming & Entertainment
Possible subgroups may include:
- Board & Card Games
- Streaming & Digital Entertainment
- Gaming Accessories & Gear
- Streamer Equipment
- Esports
- Video Games
- Mobile Games
- Family Entertainment
Selecting specific subgroups gives CM Hub a clearer understanding of the types of brand partnerships you want to pursue.
How Groupings Are Used
CM Hub uses your selected Groupings to pair you with relevant companies and sponsorship opportunities.
For example, when a company is categorized under Consumer Electronics, creators who have also selected Consumer Electronics may be considered a stronger match for that brand.
Your Groupings may be used to:
- Match you with relevant companies through the Pitch feature.
- Improve the brands shown in your recommendations.
- Help the CM Hub team identify you for suitable campaign opportunities.
- Reduce the number of irrelevant companies included in your outreach.
Selecting accurate Groupings helps CM Hub focus on brands you would genuinely be interested in promoting.
Selecting the Right Groupings
Choose Groupings based on the types of products and services you would feel comfortable featuring in your content.
Your selections do not have to be limited to your primary creator niche. For example, a lifestyle creator may also be interested in:
- Home décor
- Consumer electronics
- Travel services
- Restaurants and dining
- Health and wellness products
- Family entertainment
However, you should only select categories that make sense for your content, audience, and personal brand.
Parent Groups and Subgroups
A parent group is a broad industry category, while a subgroup identifies a more specific type of product or service within that industry.
You may select an entire parent group when you are open to promoting most products within that category. You may also select individual subgroups when you want more control over the types of brands you are matched with.
For example, you may be interested in Skincare & Suncare but not every category listed under Beauty & Cosmetics. In that case, select only the relevant subgroup.
Updating Your Groupings
Your interests may change as your content and creator business evolve.
Return to the Groupings tab whenever you want to:
- Add new categories.
- Remove categories that are no longer relevant.
- Expand into new sponsorship industries.
- Improve the relevance of your brand matches.
Remember to click Save after making changes.
Tips
- Select categories you would genuinely feel comfortable promoting.
- Be specific when possible so your brand matches remain relevant.
- Avoid selecting every available Grouping simply to receive more options.
- Review your Groupings periodically as your content and partnership goals change.
- Consider both your content niche and the broader interests of your audience.
